The second day of the conference (Friday 21st September 2018) will conclude with a short evening concert to be held at 6pm in the Chapel of Clare College, Cambridge (Trinity Lane, CB2 1TL).
One of our keynote speakers, Prof. Antonio Rostagno (Università degli Studi di Roma ‘La Sapienza’), will give a short introduction to the concert repertoire before the performance. The programme will include a fully-staged performance of Monteverdi’s Il combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda (1624), developed by tick tock performance (www.tt-tt-tt.com).
tick tock will be joined by a stellar lineup of performers from Cambridge and London to bring to life this rarely-performed musical gem.
The concert will be filmed – the recording will be made available on request, for study purposes only.
The concert is a free event and open to the public – advance registration is required as spaces are limited.
